STEFANIE G. ROUMELIOTES, Founder and CEO of SGR Consulting, is a senior strategist, high-caliber fundraiser, and seasoned political operative. A native to the San Francisco Bay Area, Stefanie has parlayed her passion for supporting political candidates and causes, and enhancing the welfare of others into a highly productive career as a business development strategist. Recognized nationally as a leader in her field, Stefanie prides herself on the ability to facilitate and build meaningful relationships, and has established an admirable reputation for handling each enterprise she manages with expertise and success.

Stefanie founded her firm, SGR Consulting, in San Francisco in 2004 to provide strategic fundraising and development services to political campaigns and non-profit organizations. As CEO, Stefanie has led SGR Consulting to the forefront of the field through her expertise in identifying new opportunities and navigating partnerships through solution-driven communications strategy and engagement at the intersection of public, private, and non-profit sectors. 

Under Stefanie's leadership, SGR Consulting has raised nearly two billion dollars for its numerous clients, which have included US President Joe Biden, US Vice President Kamala Harris, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, California Governor Gavin Newsom, California Attorney General Rob Bonta, California Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis, California Assemblymember Catherine Stefanie, US Senator Dianne Feinstein, US Senator Alex Padilla, US Representative Lateefah Simon, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee, and San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins.

Stefanie most recently served as the National Senior Advisor on Technology and Business Development for the Harris Walz 2024 Presidential Campaign.

Over the last decade, SGR Consulting has played an integral role in the success of many civic and CA state-wide bonds and initiatives that have unlocked millions of dollars in government funding that has benefited the community at large. Her portfolio includes, but is not limited to, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), Democratic Governors Association (DGA), United Nations Foundation, William Jefferson Clinton Foundation, the Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR), FWD.us, Futures Without Violence, and the California Democratic Party. 

In 2010, Stefanie was appointed by CA Governor Gavin Newsom to be a San Francisco City and County Commissioner for the Golden Gate Park Concourse Authority. In 2017, she was appointed by the late San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee as Chair of the San Francisco-Thessaloniki Sister City Association and served until 2023.

Stefanie was the 2021 Success Honoree of Dress for Success, an organization that helps women achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools that help women thrive. Stefanie remains deeply committed to empowering women in the professional world.

Stefanie is a UCLA graduate and a proud Greek-American. She is married to Dr. John Costouros and is a devoted mother to her ten-year-old twins.
